The advantages of silk screen printing are:

  • Low cost for high quantities - After a one-time setup fee (for creation of the screens), the price goes down as the quantity goes up. The higher the quantity, the lower the price per unit.
  • Screen printing can be done on any color fabric, even darker-colored shirts where an ink underlay is used to allow the colors to stay bright.
  • A silk screen print is very durable because the ink bonds to the shirt very tightly, holding up after hundreds of washes and many years of wear.

We will deliver your printed items directly to you within 10-14 days, that's a guarantee! We also offer a rush service, for those times when you have a tight deadline.

WARNING: Don't ever risk settling for an unprofessional, local screen printer who may be using iron-on printing or even worse, contracting their work out to others.

History:

Silk screen printing is an age-old technique with its origins in Asia stemming from Japanese stenciling. The first screens were made from a single piece of absorbent fine silk. John Pilsworth was responsible for the more modern form of silk screen printing with multi-color silkscreen techniques and equipment. Interestingly, not much has changed from the techniques he pioneered in San Francisco way back in 1914.
